- I have started working in Oak Ridge Nationanl Laboratory from Sept. 2009 to conduct research on improving I/O performance
of Jaguar supercomputer, one of the most powerful open scientific computing systems in the world (ranked nation's 1st fastest in top500.org (from Nov. 16th, 2009)).

I have finished my Ph.D defense on 8/17/2009.
I have had the good fortune to be advised by Prof. Anand Sivasubramaniam and Prof. Bhuvan Urgaonkar at Penn State.
Short Biography
I was born in Seoul, Korea (ROK).
I grew up in Seoul.
I attended KAIST
(Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology) where I completed a M.S. in Computer Science.
Then, I worked at ETRI (Electronics and Telecommunications Research Institute)
as a researcher in Embedded Operating Systems Team.
In the fall of 2004, I started to study abroad in State College, Pennsylvania, where I began attending
The Pennsylvania State University, pursuing a Ph.D in Computer Science and Engineering.
During my graduate school of Penn State, I got married with Yu Jung Park in 2006.
